4’11”? OK, so I may have rounded up.  I like to believe I am four foot eleven inches tall, but sometimes, I have been measured at four foot ten and a half.  I think it depends on who is measuring me. Or maybe some days my shoulders are slumping from too many things in my purse.

Back in the days BEFORE the Internet, if you needed a phone number, you could pick up the phone and dial, 4-1-1, That was the Information Hotline. I don't even know if the Information option exists any longer, but here at the 4-1-1, I hope to give a little bit of information about many of my passions and interests. Tutorials, links, suggestions and tips-that's why I'm here!

I love all things paper, from paper crafts to books and everything in between.  I also enjoy fiber arts, but not sewing. I HATE to sew! (Unless it is embroidery.) I have recently discovered that I love to work with miniatures and tea cup gardens and somewhere along the way, I became a rugger, working primarily with the Amish Knot aka Toothbrush Rug method. I keep Art Journals and I dabble with doodles.  It is not unusual for me to have 2-3 projects going at one time and for everything I do-I make a list.

I married my polar opposite 25 years ago.  He is a foot taller than me, but that’s OK.  He keeps me on my toes, so that knocks off a couple of inches. He helps tear sheets, makes our rug tools, and also makes a lot of wood items for our shop. He is a much better carpenter than I am. I don't go near power tools.

I love the Lord with all my heart.  Without Him, I have nothing.  I value relationship over religion and living a life of love.

I used to clean houses part-time to earn some extra cash and we've moved, 4 times in the last 8 years. I've learned a lot about cleaning and organizing in the process.  I hope to share what works, what doesn't and why.

After 15 years of homeschooling my three beautiful daughters, our school days came to an end. While we were homeschooling, one of the best opportunities I had was to be a part of the homeschool community here in Tallahassee, Florida and in Wilmington, North Carolina by participating in (and organizing) homeschool co-op classes. Here in Tally, LIFE co-op has had up to 35 families, 100 people, and 10 classes all Learning In Family Education, (LIFE). What an adventure.  I stepped down as the co-op leader years ago, but my heart will always be connected to LIFE and I hope to encourage others to start a group of their own.

I currently work in an attorney's office. My tasks range from baking cookies, to scheduling meditations while answering phones and serving lunch. Yep. My job involves a little bit of everything.

Well that's a bit about me except for one little thing....I HATE SQUIRRELS! If you want to know why , click on the Squirrel Wars tab. You'll understand.
